Guided Tour at ITW
We invite you all to a half day tour of South Mumbai on Nov 9 (Wednesday) post lunch. We will have a bus starting from Padma Vihar Guest House, IIT Bombay at 2pm and reaching Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (museum) by 3pm or so. Here, you can visit the museum, nearby art galleries or just roam around. Please see the tourism information page on ITW website (and google maps) for more details on things to explore in this area. At 5pm, a guided walking tour, colonial walk, will start from the museum which will go on till 7:30pm.
Please make sure that you reach the starting venue by 4:50pm. Refreshments will be provided during the walking tour. Once the guided tour ends, you can choose to go back to IIT in the same bus or stay back and take cabs/trains to commute. We will also have student volunteers to help you with the tour.

This will help us in getting an estimate of the group size for the tour. Note that this tour is completely free for all ITW participants.
Tour plan:
- 2 PM: Bus starts from IIT Bombay
- 3 PM – 5 PM: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (museum)
- 5 PM – 7:30 PM: Colonial Walk guided walking tour
- 7:30 PM: Return bus
The guided tour will consist of Gateway of India, Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Royal Mumbai Yacht Club, NGMA, City Museum, Session Court, High Court, Raja Bhai Towers, Victoria Terminus. Further information can be found here:
